i've been read this article recently,
and i'm curious about setting up the maximum bandwidth configurations for the entire data center.
does anyone know if the following configurations are correct(or missing) for max. NSX performance?
1. physical switch MTU set to 9000
2. vSphere vDS MTU set to 8900
3. enable ESXi hosts' TSO
4. enable ESXi hosts' NIC TSO
5. enable hardware LRO
6. enable LRO on VM's NIC (or enable all the VMkernel adapter LRO)
7. set LRO buffer size to 32K
8. enable Receive Side Scaling(RSS)
no matter for performance tests or just to reach the NSX best practice,
are these configurations right?
thanks for any reply.
